Liebherr Maintains Busy 2023 Trade Show Schedule

Leibherr USA was on hand at the ISRI Convention and Exposition in Nashville in April to showcase its material handling technology, including the LH 60 M with GM64 grapple. 

The LH 60 M Industry is optimized for heavy duty material handling in the areas of scrap, timber, and harbor-related operations. The machine is equipped with the patented Liebherr ERC energy recovery system, which gives it a boost in performance and saves fuel. This results in significantly greater material handling performance as well as improved machine economy. The attachment for the LH 60 M is also available in a variety of options for every application.

In May, Liebherr earthmoving and material handling technology was on display at WasteExpo 2023 in New Orleans, with the L 556 wheel loader and R 914 compact litronic taking center stage.

The L 556 offers an innovative machine concept which combines performance, fuel efficiency, strength, and comfort. The machine has a tipping load of up to 35,000 lbs (15,900kg), a bucket capacity of 15.7 yd3 (12m3), and a maximum operating weight of 59,300 lb (26,900kg).

An innovative Liebherr driveline helps minimize fuel consumption and brake and tire wear. The L 556’s excellent handling capacity also help operators cut back on operating costs.

At 37,000 lb (16,750kg), the R 914 compact litronic is the smallest Liebherr crawler excavator. It features a powerful diesel engine and particularly high break-out forces. The extraordinary sensitivity of the hydraulic system enables the operator to work with precision at high speeds, even when moving. And the short rear slewing radius delivers greater safety for both operator and the machine.
