Husqvarna Delivers Complete Solutions in Surface Preparation

Husqvarna Construction has introduced a new line of branded shot blasters, steel blasters and related dust collectors, completing the integration of products formerly marketed by Blastrac.
“Adding the important shot blasting application under the Husqvarna brand to our existing surface preparation solutions—floor grinding, scarifying, and scraping—represents an important milestone in our goal to support our customers with any surface preparation challenge they may face,” says Stijn Verherstraeten, Husqvarna Construction’s senior vice president, concrete surfaces and floors.
Broader than construction
These versatile shot blasters are ideal for cleaning and retexturing of concrete and asphalt; removing coatings, paint, epoxy and removal of markings, and rubber; and improving skid resistance. The steel blasting applications go broader than just construction, delivering cost-effective and efficient solutions for paint removal and steel surface remediation on windmills, ship decks, and petrochemical storage vessels.
