Atlas Copco Acquires Pump Distributor

Atlas Copco has acquired Industrie Pumpen Vertriebs GmbH (IPV), a German distributor of industrial pumps for the Varisco brand. 

Based in Dresden, the 20-person company focuses on products for the chemical industry. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.

The industrial segment is key for us in order to further grow our pumps business, says Andrew Walker, President of Atlas Copco's Power Technique business area, of which IPV will become a part.
